This Refund & Return Policy applies to all purchases made through the SJS Group website. The policy is designed to comply with applicable consumer protection regulations in the United Arab Emirates.
1. Product Returns
Customers may request a return under the following conditions:
- The product received is damaged or defective
- The wrong product was delivered
- The product does not match the description displayed on the website
- The product has a manufacturing defect
Customers must notify SJS within 7 days of receiving the product. Returned products must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories and documentation, and in resalable condition. SJS reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund or replacement.
2. Change of Mind Returns
If a customer wishes to return a product due to change of mind, the following conditions apply:
- The request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery
- The product must be unused and unopened
- The product must be returned in its original packaging
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
3. Non-Returnable Products
The following items cannot be returned unless defective: products that have been used or installed, products without original packaging, personal care or hygiene products, customised or special-order items, and clearance or discounted items marked non-returnable.
4. Refund Processing
Once the returned product is received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase, though processing time may vary depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider.
Note: SJS Group is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
5. Exchange Policy
If a product is received damaged, defective, or incorrect, SJS will provide a free replacement, or a full refund if a replacement is unavailable.
6. Service Refunds (Car Wash & Detailing Services)
For mobile car wash and detailing services booked through our website:
- Customers must report service issues within 24 hours of service completion.
- If a service issue is confirmed, SJS may offer:
- Service re-performance, or
- Partial or full refund, depending on the nature of the complaint.
Note: Service dissatisfaction due to factors outside company’s control may not qualify for refunds.
7. Order Cancellation
Customers may cancel orders before the product is shipped or before the scheduled service appointment. Once a product has shipped or a service technician has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible. Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed according to this policy.
8. Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the wrong product was delivered, the product arrived damaged, or the return is due to an error by SJS General Trading. In those cases, SJS will cover the return shipping cost.
9. Fraud Prevention
SJS reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of suspected misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity.
